JC has a few favorite things. Meatballs, hot dogs, Maggie, her Little Tykes car, and the Strong Museum. For those who don't know, The Strong Museum, also known as The National Museum of Play is a museum entirely devoted to different kinds of play (imaginative, reading, interactive, exploratory, etc.) It is also the home of the "Toy Hall of Fame" which houses the best toys through the ages, and is pretty tough to get into (after all, Lite Brite didn't make it!) Nominate your favorite at: www.strongmuseum.org
For general interest the complete list of Toys in the Hall of Fame is: Alphabet Blocks, Barbie®, Bicycle, Candy Land®, Cardboard Box, Checkers, Crayola® Crayons, Duncan® Yo-Yo, Easy Bake® Oven, Erector® Set, Etch A Sketch®, Frisbee®, G.I. Joe™, Hula Hoop®, Jack-in-the-Box, Jacks, Jigsaw Puzzle, Jump Rope, LEGO®, Lionel® Trains, Lincoln Logs®, Marbles, Monopoly®, Mr. Potato Head®, Play-Doh®, Radio Flyer® Wagon, Raggedy Ann™, Rocking Horse, Roller Skates, SCRABBLE®, Silly Putty®, Slinky®, Teddy Bear, Tinkertoy®, Tonka® Trucks, and View-Master®.
The Strong Museum was started by a generous gift (ie money) of daughter of the infamous Rochestarian Henry Strong's. Strong was a rich buggy whip maker (I am not making this up), who helped finance (read: venture capitalist) the start of Eastman-Kodak Company in the form of young George Eastman, and was also the president of the company. Then he was really rich, and he and his children put his name on everything they could find. Legend has it that his daughter's teddy bear was the start of the "Toy hall of Fame".
Anyway, JC loves nothing better than an afternoon at the Strong Museum to complete her day. Recently, we visited with our Aunts M&B and their boyfriends, and so I though that I would share a few pictures to make sure that everyone got to see the unrivaled cuteness of my daughter. Her favorite thing is the sandbox, but also likes the booth where you can "count along with the count" via the magic of green screen technology which puts her on the magical Sesame Street Muppet wall with various characters.
However, on her most recent trip, she was ostracized from the mini-Wegman's to the infant area (please, she already has a credit history! The girl can shop!). Anyway, she did enjoy driving the little car, and even checked her mirrors before passing. 10 and 2, safety first, you can't teach that stuff too early.
So, please enjoy the pictures of the Strong Museum of Play, and if you are ever here, you can come and take her. Especially on the merry-go-round. That makes me nauseous.

But you removed the picture of JC on Aunt B's lap with both of them laughing. Which means that even greater cuteness opportunities are possible.
I just want to recommend not going on a rainy day during the summer. There were of course many less cute examples of the human race running around to prove JC's superiority, but when you are secure in your position it isn't necessary to cmpare. If it worth it to endure lines full of 30 something mothers basking in the glow of their child's brilliance.
