Santa found our new house!!

JC was happy to note that Santa was able to find our new house this year, and was able to make sure that everyone got a few things. This was the first year that she really got into Christmas (mostly the ripping off of wrapping paper), but she had a great time. Here are a few pictures of the crazy events.

Not actually a picture from Christmas morning, but a picture of JC opening her gift from Ms. Sandra at the daycare. She enjoyed the Moses's basket very much.

JC opening her stocking and finding an autographed copy of "wheels on the bus" which we have been singing just a few times since then.

Rob and JC opening gifts, and sitting in Rob's new Morris Chair. You will notice that JC got a Pistons T-shirt, which she insisted on wearing immediately. That actually could be the theme of our day...wear it immediately (see below for more ridiculous outfits).

JC got a shopping cart for Christmas as well, and everything else that she got had to go into the cart. She loves that thing, although we had to get a different one since this one scratched the floor. Funny story, when we told her it that the cart was broken and we couldn't play with it any more she got out her tool box and started to fix it. When we told her that it couldn't be fixed, she wanted to go get Ganpa to fix it. Smart girl.

And what good is a shopping cart with all your stuff in it like a bag lady if you don't have a really ridiculously puffy coat and hat to go with it. (Thanks to Aunt M).

And of course, if you have a puffy coat and hat and a shopping cart, then you definently need some ducks that light up when touched for the bathtub, becuase those just complete the whole look.

JC got a stuffed snowman from the Great Grandpa and Grandma Lanoo. She thinks he is fantastic. He goes everywhere, and, ironically for a snowman, must be bundled up and kept warm in multiple blankets and wraps. You can see her here putting him to bed and giving him big hugs.
